How soon can I use my carpet or use my upholstery after it is cleaned?

We use high velocity vacuums which will remove almost all of the water and moisture. Your carpet or furniture should be ready use within 2 hours. We recommend you open any windows to increase the rate of drying. If you need to walk on the wet carpet we recommend that you use socks or shoes since bare feet can leave oil spots.

How long does it take for my carpet or upholstery to fully dry?

Normal it should take about 5 to 6 hours. Opening a windows or putting a fan in the room can speed the drying process. If you asked for Scotch Guard then the drying process will take a bit longer.

Can You Remove All Spots?

What are the cleaning standards?

In 1992, standards were set for the carpet cleaning industry by representatives from the carpet manufacturing industry, the carpet cleaning industry, and the federal government. These standards are called the Soo1-92 standards. It was agreed that that these cleaning processes should include:

• Pre-treat spots, stains and heavily soiled areas
• Hot Water Extraction
• A thorough rinse
• Furniture Moving

My carpet or rug has faded spots. Can you fix that?

If your carpet or rug has color loss, we can spot dye the area. Our staff is able to match the dye if is a synthetic dye. All machine made rugs use synthetic dyes; all handmade Oriental and Persians rugs use vegetables dyes.
